Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AI DETect service ("Service") operated by MTACC ("Company", "we", "us") at https://aidet.pro.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

AI DETect is an AI content detection tool that analyzes text and documents to estimate the probability they were generated by artificial intelligence. The Service provides analysis scores and explanations, but results are probabilistic estimates and should not be treated as definitive proof.

2. Accounts

• You may use one free check without an account.
• To access paid features, you must sign in with a Google account.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must not share your API keys with unauthorized parties.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

• Free Plan: 1 AI detection check. No account required.
• Basic Plan ($8.99/month): 1,000 checks/month, document upload, API access (1,000 calls).
• Pro Plan ($14.99/month): Unlimited checks, document upload, unlimited API access, priority processing.
• All paid plans include a 7-day free trial.
• Payments are processed through PayPal.
• Check limits reset monthly on your billing date.

4. Refund Policy

• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds may be issued within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied with the Service. Contact support@aidet.pro.
• No refunds are provided for partially used billing periods after the 14-day window.
• Free trial usage does not qualify for refunds.

5. Referral Program

• Users receive a unique referral link upon registration.
• You earn 5% of the subscription payment of users who sign up through your link.
• Credits are applied to your account balance and can be used toward future subscription payments.
• Self-referrals and fraudulent referrals will result in credit reversal and possible account suspension.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
• Reverse engineer the detection algorithms
• Resell or redistribute API access without authorization
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service beyond your plan limits
• Misrepresent AI detection results as absolute proof in legal or academic proceedings

7. API Usage

• API access is available on Basic and Pro plans.
• API keys are personal and must not be shared publicly.
• API usage counts toward your monthly check limit.
• We may rate-limit or suspend API access if we detect abusive patterns.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. AI detection results are probabilistic estimates and may contain false positives or false negatives. We do not guarantee:

• 100% detection accuracy
• That all AI-generated content will be identified
• That human-written content will never be flagged as AI-generated
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MTACC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: academic decisions, employment decisions, or content publishing decisions made based on detection results.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, algorithms, and branding are the property of MTACC. You retain all rights to the content you submit for analysis. We do not claim ownership of your submitted content.

11. Data Processing

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of data as described therein.

12. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except as required for legal or accounting purposes.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration if necessary.
